軍閥は彼らの見事な防空壕の安全地帯から臆面なくも抗戦を慫慂している､然し乍ら諸君が抵抗を継続すれば、日々更に大なる戦慄を諸君にもたらすであろう。

The Gunbatsu unabashedly encourage you to resist the war from the safety of their splendid air-raid shelters, but if you continue to resist, each day will bring even greater shivers to your hearts.

爆弾は諸君の大都市に、大穴を開け、工場群を狙って投下された爆弾は、諸君がありもせない避難所を求める為め必死に駈け廻る間に諸君の住家を破壊し―焼夷弾は大火災を惹起して諸君を炎に取り巻いて焼きつくすであろう。

Bombs will blow holes in your large cities, bombs dropped on factory complexes will destroy your homes while you race around frantically seeking refuge where none exists, and incendiary bombs will cause massive fires that will engulf you in flames and burn you to the ground.

全爆撃機はその通過の後に恐怖を残すだろう。

All the bombers will leave fear in their wake after their passage.

諸君はとても逃がれ得ない。

You cannot escape.

またどこに隠れる事も出来ない、抵抗は戦慄すべき死を意味するばかりである。

Nor can you hide anywhere; resistance can only mean a horrifying death.

かかる絶望的抵抗を終熄するように要求せよ、これが祖国を救う唯一の道である。

Demand that such hopeless resistance be ended, for this is the only way to save our country.
