日本が老人と女子供ばかりの国となってもよいか

Is it okay if Japan becomes a country full of old people, women and children?

日本兵が一人残らず戦場の露消えまた日本の都市が悪く爆撃の為め灰燼に帰すまで抵抗と続ければ結局日本はどんなになるかを考えた事がありますか。

Have you ever considered what would happen to Japan if every last Japanese soldier were to disappear like the morning’s dew while Japan continues its resistance until its cities were badly bombed and reduced to ashes?

最後まで戦えば日本は国家の中堅たるべき壮年青年を失いただ女子供年寄の国となってしいます。

If you fight to the bitter end, Japan will lose its young men who are supposed to be the core of the nation, and become a nation of women, children, and old people.

そうすれば日本は国家の体制を失い外国の援助を受けなければならなくなります。

Japan would then lose its national order and would become dependent on foreign aid.

そう云う悲惨な日本を想像した事がありますか。

Have you ever imagined such a miserable Japan?

今や日本が負けるという事は火を見るよりも明かです。

Now it is clearer than ever that Japan will lose.

聖上陛下におかせられてはかかる悲惨なる運命より日本を助け出したいと思召されている事と拝察するも畏れ多き極みであります。

I am filled with awe and respect that His Majesty the Emperor is hoping to save Japan from such a tragic fate.
