米国はヨーロッパにおいてドイツの為にその生活物資を奪はれた何十万という人々に食糧や衣服を供給した。

The U.S. provided food and clothing to hundreds of thousands of people in Europe who had been deprived of their basic necessities because of Germany.

サイパンやその地の太平洋の島々において、たくさんの日本人が米国の軍隊に保護されて、食糧や衣服類の支給を受けている。
