Let me explain the present general war situation.

ヨーロッパの戦線では聯合国軍は北フランスより怒濤の如き勢いで、ジーグフリード線に突入している。

On the European front, the Allied forces are surging like waves into the Siegfried Line from northern France.

すでに米軍は国境線を一部突破し、ドイツ国内において激戦がつづけられている。

U.S. forces have already breached part of the border, and fierce fighting continues in Germany.

英軍はオランダの南部より国境線を突破した。

British troops breached the border from the southern part of the Netherlands.

ソ連軍はすでにハンガリーの首都ブタベストにせまり、歩オーランド及イタリーの戦線と合せて独逸は完全に包囲せられている。

Soviet forces had already closed in on the Hungarian capital, Budapest, and together with the front lines in Poland and Italy, Germany is completely surrounded.

ドイツの抵抗も時の問題だ。

German resistance is also a matter of time.

ヒツトラーは政治の局面からすでに姿をかくしている。

Hitler dude has already disappeared from the political scene.

太平洋方面の戦線の現在一番重大な事件は、米軍のフィリピンルソン島への上陸だ。

The most significant current incident on the Pacific front is the landing of U.S. troops on the Philippine Island of Luzon.

帝国聯合艦隊はこの附近の海戦によって重大な損害を受けた。

The Imperial United Fleet suffered heavy losses in the naval battle in this area.

現在米軍は着々戦果を拡大しつつあり激戦がつづけられている。

Currently, the U.S. military is steadily expanding its war effort, and fierce fighting continues.

フィリピンを失う事は日本の完全な敗戦を意味する。

Losing the Philippines will mean Japan's complete defeat in the war.

サルミとかホーランジヤに日本軍が新に上陸したという噂は、まつたくのうそである。

Rumors of new Japanese landings in Sarmi and Hollandia are complete lies.

ビルマ戦線は北部の大半を英支軍におさへられ、今やかつてのビルマルートに接する新しい対支補給線が、巨大な道路建設が行はれ、日本軍は何等の妨害もなし得ない。

The British and Chinese forces had taken over most of the northern part of the Burmese front. Even now, road construction for the new supply line to China adjacent to the former Burma road is going on, and the Japanese troops cannot hinder this.

中南支の飛行基地を奪取せんとする日本軍の動向は、B-29（ボーイングの一倍半）による本土及満州への空襲をさけるための外フィリピンに上陸した米軍によって将来南方への海上補給線を切断せられた後の、陸上補給線を確保しようとしているものだ。

The Japanese military's move to seize air bases in Central and South China is intended to prevent air raids on the mainland and Manchuria by B-29s (one and a half times the size of a Boeing) and to secure a land supply line to the south after the sea supply line is cut by U.S. forces landing in the Philippines in the future.

来年一ぱいが山だ。

The next year will bring many difficulties.

そして聯合国軍の膨大資源と機械力のまえに我国は敗れるだろう。

And you will be defeated by the vast resources and mechanical power of the Allied forces.
