North Pacific graveyard of stupid planning

本国との連絡を遮断された諸君は今や全く孤立の状態にある諸君の今日の憂き目、荒涼たるアルーシヤン列島の絶島に無意味な最期を遂げたることは、何たる無駄死だ。

Now that you have been cut off from contact with your home country, you are in a state of total isolation, and what a waste of a death it would be for you to meet a senseless end on the desolate, isolated islands of the Aleutian Archipelago.

諸君の督軍連は既にアルーシヤン攻撃遂行を全く断念しているのである。

Your military commanders have already abandoned the attack on Aleutians altogether.

日にその威力を増す米軍に対抗する為、遠く嵐吹く北太平洋の孤島に援軍を送る事を諦め、諸君を見殺しにしているのだ。

To counter the U.S. forces, which are growing more powerful by the day, they have given up sending reinforcements to a remote and stormy island in the North Pacific, and have left you to die.

なぜならば過去数ヶ月においける犠牲余りにも多大であった為めである。

The reason is that the sacrifices made in the past few months have been too great.

諸君の目前で爆沈された船のみで幾艘あるか？

How many ships have been sunk in front of your eyes alone?

そして諸君に報道されずに撃沈された數はそれよりいかが程多いことか。

And how many more have been sunk without being reported to you?

航空機の損害は余りにも多かった。

Aircraft losses were too much.

溺死者、戦死者、或は負傷者のいかが計り多かりしか？

How many drowned, killed in battle, or wounded?

この犠牲の余りにも多き為、本国では発表する事さえ出来ないではないか！

The losses have been so great that they cannot even be announced in Japan!

今や極寒来たりたるに諸君の督軍達は諸君に食糧その他の補充品さえ送る事が出来なくなっている。

Now that the cold weather has arrived, your military commanders are unable to send you even food or other supplies.

諸君等を救出する等は思いも及ばない。

It is not in their minds to rescue you all.

諸君は全く見放されているのである。

You have been totally abandoned.

周知の如く、米軍の威力はアメリカ大陸より列島に点在する基地を経ていやが上にも増大する潮の如く諸君に切迫しているのである。

As you know, the power of the U.S. military is pressing upon you like an ever-increasing tide from the continental United States through its bases dotted across the archipelago.

諸君は全く米軍の為すが侭の窮状にあるのである。

You are in a predicament completely at the mercy of the U.S. military.

上陸して以来一度として諸君は攻勢を取る事が出来なかったではないか。

Since you landed, you have never been able to take the offensive.

しかも今や防禦の手段さえ無くなりつつあるではないか。

Moreover, even the means of defense are now running out.

みじめな窮状とは諸君の事だ。

This is your wretched plight.

遥か大洋の彼方にある諸君の家族こそ気の毒の至りだ。

I feel sorry for your families far across the ocean.

どうなら、諸君が何ら為す所なく死んで行きつつあるからである。

Because you all are dying with nothing to show for it.
