然し何處にもない！

大軍を向うに廻して君達は勇敢に戰つたが、タムはすでに落ち、日本軍はチンドイン河口に引下がっている。

You fought bravely against a vast army, but Tam has fallen, and your forces are now retreating to the mouth of the Chindwin River.

餓死が君達を待っている。

Death from starvation awaits you all.

補給線を断たれては食糧の来る見込もない。

With supply lines cut off, there is no hope of food coming.

六月一七日姿を見せた限り日本の航空機は影を見せない。

As far back as June 17, Japanese aircraft silhouettes have not been seen.

一体どうしたのだろう？

What the hell is going on?

その日、日本航空機七機は物凄いスピツドフアイヤ戦闘機に撃墜されたのだ。

On that day, seven Japanese aircraft were shot down by tremendous Spitfires.

君達を掩護する航空機は一機もないが、聯合軍側は英陸共に日毎勢力を増している。

There is not a single aircraft to protect you, whilst both the Commonwealth and land forces of the Allies are gaining strength day by day.

君達はよく戦った。

You have fought well.

困難な狀態を忍んで来た君達の精神は英國側も感心している。

The Commonwealth side is impressed by your spirit to persevere under such difficult conditions.

今や英国側と軍人精神に悖らぬ諒解に入る時は来のだ。

The time has now come to reach an agreement with the Commonwealth side that not is not contrary to your esprit de corps.

最後まで戦い、義務を果した高らかな心を持って、英国側へ来たまえ！

Come to the Commonwealth side with a noble heart, having fought to the end and fulfilled your duty!
